We have worked hard to make sure Sibstar is affordable, while ensuring that no corners are cut in its design or functionality.
Sibstar is a profit with purpose business which means we are committed to donating a proportion of our profits back into causes we believe in. We‘re starting with the Alzheimer’s Society who will receive 7.5% of our net profit.
We cover our costs through the initial set up fee, monthly subscription which is £4.99 and cash point withdrawals*. These fees go towards running Sibstar, and developing our app so that it always meets the needs of people living with dementia.
You can load your account for free as many times as you like, and the monthly fee is paid automatically so you don’t ever have to worry about making additional payments.
*cashpoint withdrawals are charged at 99p because we get charged for them. Most banks pay the same as us but give them to you for free. Sorry (we don’t think it’s fair either) but this is something we just can’t change, but when we can, we will!
