We need this to waive your set-up fee and credit their account with £5.

We will not share any of your information with them.

Once your account is active, we’ll waive your set-up fee and credit £5 to the person who referred you.

(If you sign up elsewhere on the website, we won’t be able to apply the referral benefit.)

Here’s how:

  • Get started

    Download the Sibstar app from the App Store or Google Play.

  • Choose

    You can have a Sibstar card and app for yourself, by yourself. Or if you are supporting someone who needs help, they can have the card and you can have the app.

  • Sign up

    Sign up in the app and we’ll pop a Sibstar card in the post. Activate it in the app and you’re ready to go!

  • Manage

    Set your daily, monthly and cashpoint limits. Switch on/off cashpoint withdrawals, online & phone use. You can even set a daily auto top up.

Your Questions, Answered

  • Anyone aged 18+ living in the UK who may benefit from support with everyday spending,  including people living with dementia, mental health challenges, learning disabilities, in addiction recovery, cognitive decline or anyone concerned about scams or overspending.

    A Power of Attorney is not always required, but if you have one we’ll just need to see it.

  • The person you refer must:

    • Complete the sign-up process

    • Have activated their card

  • On the form, tell us the email address of the person who referred you. We’ll check their Sibstar card is activated and add £5 to their Sibstar account.

  • No. The £5 credit the person that referred you receives does not expire and will be available in their Sibstar account.

  • You must start the referral process by submitting the form on this page during March 2026.


    You have 4 weeks from submitting the form to complete the application process and be approved to be included within the offer.

    Both your account and the account of the person that referred you, must be active to qualify for the referral thank you.

  • Please give us a call so we can look into this for you .

    We may be: 

    • processing the referral, if so your set-up fee will be refunded as soon as our checks are done. 

    • Checking the application is valid and was made within the specified time limits and the referrer has an activated Sibstar card . 

Referral Programme Terms

1 Eligibility
The referral programme applies to the setup fee charged for the use of your Card and Card Account when a new account is activated It does not cover:

  • Money spent using the Card.

  • Transaction fees incurred.

  • Other payments or charges unrelated to the setup or monthly fee.

The referred person must:

  • Be a new Sibstar customer

  • Complete the full sign-up process and specify the email address registered with Sibstar of the person that referred them

  • Pass account verification and approval

  • Have their account approved within 4 weeks of the referral submission date

  • Activate their account by loading money into the Sibstar account and onto the Sibstar card

The referrer must be:

  • An active Sibstar customer - either a cardholder or supporter

2 Offer Period

This offer is valid for referrals submitted between 00:01 on 1 March and 23:59 on 31 March (UK time).

3 Referral Process

The referred person must submit the referral via the official Sibstar referral landing page, including:

  • Their email address

  • The email address registered to Sibstar of the person that referred them (this can be a supporter’s email address or that of a cardholder).

  • A valid referral code issued by Sibstar

Once the referred account is approved and active, £5 credit will be applied to the referrer’s Sibstar account.

The £4.99 set-up fee will be waived for the referred customer only. They will not receive any additional credit unless they refer another new customer.

There is no limit to the number of referrals per customer.

4 Limitations

  • Refunds will only cover the initial setup fee for new accounts created via the referral offer page and will not be back dated.

  • No refunds will be issued for any other fees and charges incurred outside the scope of the referral offer.

  • Self-referrals are not permitted

5 Non-Transferable
This referral credit and the waiver of set-up fees for new referred accounts applies only to the registered Cardholder and/or their Supporter and cannot be transferred or extended.

Credit awarded under this offer:

  • Has no cash alternative

  • Is non-transferable

  • Will not expire

6 Changes to the referral terms
We reserve the right to modify or terminate this referral programme at any time. Such changes would not affect claims made before the change.

Sibstar reserves the right to withhold credit where fraudulent activity, misuse, or breach of these terms is suspected.

By using your Card and Card Account, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this referral agreement.
